The Story of the Orgasmic Couple

Once upon a time . . . . .  Peter and Glenys Williams were Dairy farmers in the North Island of a fair country called New Zealand. They had been farming for a long time when one day they woke up and decided there had to be a better more healthy way of farming. They had been sick and discovered that they, their land and cows were suffering from unhealthy conventional farming practices.
 
This was the start of a journey that saw them change their life

By farming and living the Organic way, long before others realized it made a difference. They slowly learned to attune themselves to the natural balance of nature and threw away farm practices that were negative to themselves,their cows and their land.

The story Continues

In the mid 90’s, Peter and Glenys and their family relocated to the lush pastures of Southland and worked hard to develop their own certified Organic Dairy farm. In 2000 they achieved international Organic status with Biogro, but being people with a passion for what they do and now almost self sufficient this was not enough,  so they started selling their produce at local farmers markets.

The Orgasmic Part

This is where Orgasmic Organic Ice cream enters the story – Glenys started making homemade Organic Ice cream and selling it, the demand was good, very good, and people from far away started asking for it.

So being a family with vision, they decided they would produce a commercial Organic Ice cream that had all the integrity and flavour of homemade, using their own and the best locally sourced ingredients.

This ice cream had to be of such a high standard that people all over New Zealand and the world would want it - so the search begins

Peter and Glenys and family knew they were very good farmers, but ice cream making was a different story,  so the search began to find someone to make it. It didn’t take long to realise that right on their doorstep an award winning ice cream company called Deep South were the answer. So together they worked hard and created a great tasting Organic Ice cream. But now the dilemma was what to call it!

The really Orgasmic Part

They decided that just because it was organic didn‘t mean it had to be boring, so after much discussion and research, they decided on ‘Orgasmic’  meaning intensely excited, which was how they wanted people to feel when they tasted it.  Naughty but nice is the philosophy, Pure Pleasure made in New Zealand with Passion. To keep it simple they decided to offer the 4 most popular ice cream flavours, to start with. So in the spirit of the brand the flavours are named - Virgin Vanilla, Chocolate Climax, Strawberry Seduction and Kinky Karamel.

Where this story ends is anyone’s guess but one thing is certain the passion behind Orgasmic Organic Ice cream can only grow.
